The Northborough Newcomers' Club is a non-profit organization that offers Northborough families a way to meet other Northborough neighbors, build friendships and community. The club holds a variety of activities throughout the year including children's playgroups, family and couples events, book groups, bunco nights, ladies' night out, men's night out, dinner outings, wine tastings, walking group and more.
In addition to being a social group, the club also contributes to the community. Contributions in 2006 included: blanket making for donation to Project Linus, contributed to Town Clean-up, Applefest, and town food pantry, organized Breakfast with Santa (with the Lion's club) and contributed to the Community Affairs Summer Concert series. The club also donated to support the Northborough Library expansion project, the library's Davis Farmland pass and to the children's book section dedicating books to members' new family members.
Live in Northborough? We hope you will consider joining in the fun! You don't have to be a new to town to join, some of our members have been involved for over 15 years! Despite the name, the Northborough Newcomers' Club is not limited to new members of the community – the club is open to all residents.
